The TV commercial for the 1st Annual It Came From Schenectady Sci-Fi Film Festival took top honors at the 2009 NORI awards in the category of Best TV Commercial - Service or Institution. The spot was Produced, Directed and Edited by Samuel M. Goldstein, Written, Voiced and Co-Produced by Larry Mossey, Illustrated and Co-Produced by Richard Loverich, Co-Produced by Peter Hughes and Sound Design and Mix by Ray Rettig.

The RPI-Entered Radio Commercial for Suicide Prevention also won for Best Radio PSA. The spot was Produced and Directed by Samuel M. Goldstein, written by Larry Mossey, recorded and mixed by Ray Rettig and voiced by Kevin Readdean.
